Henshall, Principal |

| John is an economist
/ planner who has worked since 1969 with organisations in
industry, government and consulting, both in Australia and
abroad. His experience covers projects in urban and regional
economic development and land use planning; industry sector
analysis; industrial, commercial and retail location and development;
impact assessments; tourism strategies and projects; presentation
of expert evidence at tribunals and panels; and community
consultation.
John also has considerable experience in economic
and planning projects in Asia including housing, sites and
services; urban and village improvement programs; poverty
alleviation programs; and project review and evaluation. His
overseas work has involved projects funded by AusAID, the
World Bank, UNCHS/UNDP and the Asian Development Bank.

| Matthew
Lee, Senior Associate |

| Matt has expertise
in urban and regional economic analysis; retail assessments
and town centre studies; industry sector analysis and forecasting;
economic profiling for urban and regional communities; tourism
strategies and projects; market feasibility; and survey research
and interviewing techniques. In particular, Matt has strong
skills in retail analysis, including retail demand analysis
and location assessment; preparation of retail strategies;
and town centre assessments.
Matt has excellent computer skills, and is very
competent in a range of statistical, mapping and graphical
software to enhance the quality and value of the team's work.
Matt is also responsible for the design and management of
the Essential Economics website.

| Sean is an economist
with a specialisation in urban and regional economics. He
has worked on a diverse range of projects across Australia
for high profile clients in the public and private sector.
Sean has a track record of providing independent economic
advice on complex issues and possesses an extensive knowledge
of the property industry in Australia.
Sean has advanced computer skills and is competent
in a range of statistical and Geographic Information System
(GIS) software.

with wide ranging private and public sector experience in
both the UK and Australia. He is primarily involved in demographic
analysis, demand forecasting, economic analysis and profiling,
tourism and industrial land strategies. John has particularly
strong expertise in cost benefit and economic impact analysis,
considerable experience in community and stakeholder consulatation
and excellent report writing and presentation skills.

| Natalie's ability
to interpret meaning from numbers together with her marketing
and research background provide the basis for her strong business
planning ability. Natalie has experience in a wide range of
projects, with emphasis on arts, culture, tourism, recreation
and urban and regional development. Recent projects include
preparation of economic impact assessment of arts, culture
and tourism developments. Natalie has also undertaken several
economic development assessments as well as assisting clients
to write DIIRD and DOTARS funding applications.

graduate of Melbourne University with experience working as
a junior town planner in private urban planning consultancies
during her studies. Victoria's work as a Research Analyst
involves her in a wide range of projects, including residential
land studies, mixed-use economic assessment and commercial/retail
assessments for both public and private sector clients. She
also has experience in statutory planning. Victoria has strong
research and report writing/analytical skills and through
her studies has developed a keen interest in urban economics.
